This policy explains how SHIFT Coaching + Consulting (“SHIFT,” “we,” or “us”) handles information submitted through shiftcompany.net and related assessment, coaching, and inquiry experiences.
Plain-language summary: We collect only the information needed to provide the experience you request, communicate with you, support coaches and teams, and improve our work. We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
- Contact information such as name, email address, phone number, and organization.
- Messages and preferences submitted through coach, leadership-team, and general inquiry forms.
- Seven Essentials assessment answers, scores, organization or round associations, selected coach information, and required acknowledgments.
- Coach-profile submissions and related professional information.
- Limited technical information needed for security, rate limiting, and reliable operation, such as timestamps and a one-way hash derived from an IP address.
How we use information
We use information to provide requested services and results, operate team and coach dashboards, route inquiries, send transactional messages, maintain security, respond to support requests, and—only when you choose it—send marketing communications.
Who can see assessment information
Before an assessment is submitted, the experience explains how named results may be shared. Depending on the assessment path, results may be available to the participant, an assigned SHIFT coach, authorized organization leaders, and authorized SHIFT administrators. Team views are intended for learning and discovery, not judgment.
Service providers
We use service providers to host and operate the site, store data, deliver email, and manage communications. These currently include Vercel, Supabase, Resend, and ActiveCampaign. They process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, and legitimate business records. Abandoned Seven Essentials sessions are designed to be anonymized after 30 days, and secure participant result links expire after 180 days. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
